The ground beneath our feet. The soil on which our homes are built. The place where God has called us. Native Soil is a project born from the collaboration of Fr. Victor Ingalls and 4PM Media in an effort to ask God more intentionally how He is calling us to renew our Native Soil.
Fr. Victor Ingalls
I grew up in Montgomery, AL, before attending college in South Carolina. For two years, I went to seminary in Philadelphia and four years in Rome, Italy. I had the chance to travel all over Europe and even spent a summer in China with some missionaries. However all along, I felt called to come back home to my Native Soil and serve as a priest. There was something about this place God was calling me back to be a part of…to put down roots. So on June 2, 2012 I was ordained a priest and committed myself to serve this place for the rest of my life. Since July of 2016, I have served as the Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Mobile. Now this is my chance to challenge you to consider your “vocation”—i.e. how God is calling you to help renew our Native Soil.

Founded by Jack and Jamie McAleer and Dan Johnson in 2014, 4PM Media creates films with purpose. We produce projects that are effective catalysts to encounter, awaken, and inspire. Telling stories is the best way we know to bring beauty and truth into the world. Having filmed feature documentaries, streaming series, and commercial work all over the world we are excited to work on a project rooted in the place we call home.
